Our Approach

JetTec Apps (“JetTec”, “we”, “our”) builds flightcrew-first tools with privacy and user control at the core. JetTrack is designed to work locally first. Some features are optional and may use cloud sync, subscriptions, location services, calendar export, or external flight-data lookup services when you choose to use them.

Information JetTrack may collect

Depending on the features you use, JetTrack may process or store your email address, JetTrack account identifier, subscription entitlement status, logbook records, roster records, manual duty entries, baseline totals, summary settings, app preferences, and support messages you send to us.

Account and cloud sync

JetTrack accounts and optional cloud sync are provided using Supabase. If you create or sign in to a JetTrack account, your email address and account identifier are used to authenticate you and keep your synced data linked to your account. If you enable or use cloud sync, your synced logbook, roster, manual duty, baseline, and related app data may be stored in JetTrack’s backend so it can be restored or used across your devices.

Local data

JetTrack stores app data on your device so the app can work offline. Local data may include roster information, logbook records, calendar/export settings, saved preferences, and secure login-related data. Local data remains on your device unless you choose to sync, export, share, or otherwise send it through an app feature.

Location

JetTrack may ask for location permission to suggest your nearest airport and improve local-time roster and logbook calculations. Location is used for app functionality. JetTrack does not use location for advertising or tracking.

Calendar exports

If you choose to export roster information to Calendar, JetTrack sends the selected roster event details to the calendar destination you choose. Calendar export may include details such as duty times, flight numbers, departure and arrival airports, and notes needed to create the calendar event.

Subscriptions and purchases

App Store purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. JetTec does not receive or store your payment card details. JetTrack may receive or store subscription entitlement information so the app can unlock the features included in your subscription.

Flight-data and autofill services

Some autofill features may use flight-data or ADS-B lookup services to help populate flight details. These lookups may use flight-related information such as flight number, route, aircraft registration, date, and time window. JetTrack does not use this information for advertising or tracking.

Face ID and saved credentials

JetTrack may use Face ID to unlock the app or protect saved credentials on your device. Face ID authentication is handled by iOS. JetTec does not receive your Face ID data.

Support

If you contact us for support, we will receive your email address and the information you choose to include in your message. We use support information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, and improve JetTrack.

How we use information

We use information to provide JetTrack features, authenticate accounts, sync data when enabled, maintain subscriptions and entitlements, provide support, improve reliability, and comply with legal or platform requirements. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Security

JetTrack uses platform security features provided by iOS and secure network connections for backend services. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect synced account data and limit access to what is needed to operate the service.

Your choices

You can use many JetTrack features locally without cloud sync. You can choose whether to create an account, enable sync, allow location access, export to Calendar, use Face ID, or contact support. You can also manage location, calendar, and notification permissions in iOS Settings.

Account deletion and data requests

You may request deletion of your JetTrack account and cloud-synced data from within the app where available, or by contacting us at support@jettecapps.com. Deleting a JetTrack account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Apple subscriptions must be managed through your Apple ID subscription settings.
